About the position

The Housekeeping Operations Supervisor at Marriott Vacations Worldwide is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping staff to ensure high levels of owner and guest satisfaction. This role involves inspecting cleaned areas, managing room statuses, and coordinating with various departments to maintain quality standards in housekeeping operations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Housekeeping staff to ensure excellent owner/guest satisfaction.
  • Inspect owner/guest villas/rooms and public areas after cleaning to ensure quality standards.
  • Run occupied villa/room reports and verify status of rooms.
  • Determine discrepant rooms and prioritize cleaning tasks.
  • Assist Housekeeping management in supervising daily activities.
  • Act as a liaison to coordinate efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
  • Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
  • Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in assignment sheets/work boards.
  • Communicate issues to the next shift.
  • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Mid-level experience in housekeeping operations.
