About the position

The Housekeeping Supervisor at Oklahoma City Wyndham is responsible for ensuring that guests have an excellent experience by supervising housekeeping associates and maintaining brand standards of hotel cleanliness. This role involves coordinating with other departments, conducting inspections, managing staffing and supplies, and promoting safety and sanitation efforts within the hotel.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure efficient and timely service delivery.
  • Conduct coaching and accountability of housekeeping associates when standards are not met.
  • Provide direction, support, and timely feedback to housekeeping associates.
  • Inspect guest rooms and public spaces for compliance with cleanliness standards.
  • Forecast staffing and supply needs for effective scheduling and ordering.
  • Open and close the housekeeping department by assigning and monitoring daily operations.
  • Manage Lost and Found by tracking items and communicating with guests.
  • Promote sanitation, safety, and security efforts of the hotel.
  • Assist with scheduling associates according to business levels.
  • Conduct daily stand-ups with the housekeeping team.
  • Use laundering equipment to clean and press linen safely and thoroughly.
  • Follow all company and safety policies, reporting any issues to leadership.

Requirements

  • Six months of housekeeping and/or related experience required.
  • Basic computer knowledge preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Hospitality experience preferred.
