About the position

The Housekeeping position at Sleep Inn involves maintaining the cleanliness and visual appeal of guest rooms, ensuring compliance with company standards, and providing excellent customer service. The role is essential for creating a welcoming environment for guests and requires attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with hotel staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and visual appeal of guest rooms.
• Change bed linens daily.
• Vacuum carpeting in guest rooms.
• Dust all furniture including pictures, bed frames, lamps, televisions, and dressers.
• Remove markings and smudges from mirrors, windows, and other shiny surfaces.
• Clean the bathroom area including the shower, sink, toilet, and floor.
• Ensure that the room is stocked with standard materials and meets all room set-up requirements.
• Report any facility damages or necessary repairs in a timely fashion.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Great customer service skills.
• Ability to interact with hotel staff and guests in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull moderate weight on a daily basis.
• Must be able to be on feet for prolonged periods of time.
