About the position
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team, responsible for maintaining clean and orderly environments in both residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in various cleaning tasks and will work efficiently to meet the standards of cleanliness and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
Requirements
- Experience in housekeeping management.
- Ability to cook and launder when necessary.
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping practices.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques.
- Experience in commercial cleaning procedures.
- Ability to sanitize various surfaces effectively.
- Proficiency in residential cleaning methods.
- Understanding of custodial duties including trash removal and restroom cleaning.
- Knowledge of carpet cleaning techniques.
