About the position

The Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all common areas in the hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. This role emphasizes guest service and satisfaction, requiring a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the entire lobby area including front and rear entrances, lobby seating, and restrooms.
• Greet all guests (internal and external) and ensure their needs are met promptly.
• Vacuum all carpeted areas in the lobby and meeting/conference center.
• Clean and stock all restrooms in the pool area and office areas.
• Report all damages to the department supervisor or manager.
• Empty and clean trash cans in all common areas.
• Sweep and mop all marble/tiled floors in the lobby and restrooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of the meeting/conference center area including foyer and restrooms.
• Transport clean and soiled linens as needed.
• Deliver items to guest rooms upon request.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service.
