About the position

The Housing ARPA Program Manager will lead the administration of the Qualified Census Tract (QCT) Affordable Housing Program funded through the American Rescue Plan Act. This role involves managing projects aimed at increasing affordable housing options in Nebraska, providing technical assistance, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations. The position requires strong communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to work independently while traveling throughout the state for various responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the administration of the QCT Affordable Housing Program funded through the American Rescue Plan Act.
• Assist in the analysis of data, development of policies and procedures, and program implementation.
• Deliver technical assistance to support projects funded under the American Rescue Plan Act.
• Collaborate and maintain relationships with Recipients, state and federal agencies, community organizations, and private sector stakeholders.
• Provide grant management oversight through project closeout, including monitoring, data management, and compliance reporting.
• Interpret federal regulations related to the program and ensure adherence.
• Communicate the impact of the QCT Affordable Housing Program investments on communities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in economics, business, public administration, community or regional planning, marketing or related field.
• Three years of related experience in housing development, financial analysis, or public administration.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage time effectively and pay attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves
