About the position

We are seeking a mid-level Interior Designer to join our Senior Living and Multifamily housing teams at LRS Architects in Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have experience in interior design development, coordination, and documentation for large-scale new construction projects and smaller renovations. This role emphasizes collaboration, leadership, and the ability to tackle project challenges effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architecture and interior design teams.
• Perform tasks including programming, conceptual design, design development, and production of construction documents.
• Coordinate drawings and deliverable packages at all project phases.
• Work with consultants, contractors, vendors, and product representatives to meet project objectives.
• Contribute to client presentations and meetings.
• Understand how interior details and materials integrate.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
• Minimum 4-8 years of experience at an architecture or interior design firm.
• Proficient in REVIT modeling and developing REVIT construction documents.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in Enscape or SketchUp modeling.
• NCIDQ Certification and/or WELL Accreditation, or actively pursuing other certifications.
