About the position

The H-E-B Pharmacy Technician position is a part-time role focused on providing exceptional customer service and support within the pharmacy environment. The technician will work collaboratively with pharmacists and other team members to ensure accurate and efficient pharmacy operations, including prescription processing, inventory management, and compliance with health regulations. Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and adhere to service standards.
• Manage exception station and resolve third-party issues.
• Receive and process written prescriptions, verifying patient information.
• Coordinate Rx screening events and manage immunization scheduling.
• Assist with pharmacy operations-related tasks, including recalls and inventory management.
• Order and manage inventory, processing invoices in a timely manner.
• Maintain automated prescription processing equipment and ensure proper functioning.
• Perform prescription assembly and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in pharmacy compliance and maintain organization of pharmacy shelves.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Active State of Texas registration as a certified pharmacy technician (CPhT).
• 1+ years of experience as a retail Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• 3+ years of pharmacy experience preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain certification with continuing education every 2 years.

• Certification as an H-E-B Pharmacy Technician.
• RxEVO certification.
• Advanced communication skills and telephone etiquette.
• Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office and Windows.
