About the position
Orble is seeking an enthusiastic Art Instructor to lead social art classes in Houston, aimed at beginners and keen amateurs. The role involves teaching drawing, sketching, and watercolor techniques in a fun and relaxed environment, with classes held every other weekend at various outdoor locations. The instructor will also contribute to marketing efforts by providing art samples for social media promotion.
Responsibilities
- Teach drawing, sketching, and watercolor to groups of 6-12 students.
- Conduct classes every other weekend, lasting two hours each.
- Select and prepare different outdoor locations across Houston for each session.
- Create a fun and social atmosphere without formal lectures.
- Provide samples of personal artwork for social media marketing.
Requirements
- Proven advanced art skills with qualifications and a portfolio of work.
- Experience in teaching or group leadership is highly desired.
- Punctual and reliable, with a commitment to regular work for at least six months.
- Availability to start in two to three weeks.
