About the position

The Showroom Manager at Columbia Sportswear is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Houston showroom, ensuring excellence in showroom presentation and facility management. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners to meet customer needs and drive sales strategy. The manager will maintain high customer service standards while supporting the sales team and managing showroom logistics.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of showroom operations including initiatives, policies, and procedures.
• Support seasonal sell-in, including sample processing and management.
• Merchandise showroom and support customer product presentations and meetings.
• Handle daily UPS/FedEx shipping and receiving.
• Organize and maintain selling materials and sales tools (print books, swatches, etc.).
• Maintain and manage office supplies.
• Oversee food/beverage and catering for meetings.
• Ensure ongoing showroom maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, or similar field preferred; or other relevant combination of training and experience is required.
• 3+ years' experience in a business environment preferably in facility management, operations, customer support, or customer service in the apparel industry.
• Strong Project Management skills (highly organized, excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and prioritize).
• Strong spreadsheet and Microsoft Office experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of business process development and improvement.
• Physical ability to use telephone, computer hardware/software including keyboard, type, sit and stand for extended periods of time, and lift/carry up to 35 pounds.
