About the position

The HP Retail Sales Associate role is a part-time position focused on driving sales and promoting HP products in retail environments. The associate will engage with customers, demonstrate products, and build professional relationships with store management and staff. This position requires a tech-savvy individual who can create memorable customer experiences and maintain product displays.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate HP products at Office Supplies Stores
• Engage and build rapport with customers by creating a memorable experience
• Maintain professional relationships with management and staff within assigned store
• Train retail store associates on HP products and services
• Maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality, and demo-readiness
• Report and provide competitive insights
• Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environments
• Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis
• Welcome customers and offer assistance
• Direct customers to displays; assess needs and suggest products
• Advise customers by providing information on products and services
• Help customers make selections by building customer confidence
• Accurately document and report sales
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Ensure the workstation/kiosk is clean, well-organized, functional, and presentable at all times
• Submit all paperwork completely and accurately

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Six months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment
• Retail experience or customer service experience in electronics, tech, or wireless a plus
• Training or product demonstration experience a plus
• 1-year job experience required
