About the position

The HP Territory Retail Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales and increasing brand awareness for HP products in retail environments. This full-time position involves visiting multiple stores, training retail associates, and creating excitement around the HP brand. The representative will work independently to manage their territory, ensuring effective product placement and merchandising while meeting established sales metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Visit 1 - 4 stores per day based on need.
  • Demonstrate HP products to store management, staff, and customers.
  • Increase sales and product awareness through training and hands-on consumer-facing activities.
  • Achieve and maintain program KPIs on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Build rapport within territory at each retailer with store management and staff.
  • Schedule and facilitate sales and product trainings.
  • Assess and communicate needs such as marketing material and promotional collateral.
  • Assess customer needs and make product recommendations.
  • Document and report sales, schedules, activities, and best practices.
  • Collect customer feedback and provide insight and recommendations.
  • Set and maintain brand merchandising in retail locations and ensure all brand standards are followed.
  • Coach and mentor part-time co-workers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 1 year retail experience in electronics, tech, or wireless is a plus.
  • 1 year training experience is a plus.
  • Manager, assistant manager, and key holder experience is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and customer service orientation.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Must have and maintain reliable transportation and state-required minimum liability automobile insurance coverage.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in consumer electronics or other technical/wireless products preferred.
  • Experience in direct marketing/telecommunications.
