The HPC DevSecOps Engineer role at Lockheed Martin involves leading the design and implementation of High Performance Computing (HPC) systems within a classified IT environment. This senior-level position focuses on managing extensive server infrastructures, ensuring seamless integration of innovative capabilities, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for development teams. The role emphasizes collaboration, technical expertise in scripting and programming, and the application of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with engineers, developers, and scientists to deliver innovative capabilities and ensure seamless integration with workflows.
  • Build and support HPC and Kubernetes environments using DevSecOps-focused architecture.
  • Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles for scripting and programming.
  • Deploy applications using various container runtimes and Kubernetes distributions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
  • Minimum of 7 years of IT experience with expertise in relevant systems and technologies.
  • Strong scripting and programming skills (e.g., Ansible, Python, BASH, etc.).
  • Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git).
  • Ability to obtain IAT Level II or III DoD Approved certification (e.g., Security+).
  • Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced environment with strong collaboration skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Active Top Secret security clearance.
  • Expertise with diverse Linux distributions (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu).
  • Security+, CISSP, or other IAT Level II/III certifications.
  • Experience with containers and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of C++/Java/Golang/C# build systems.
  • Experience in High Performance Computing (HPC) and associated tools.
