About the position

The Marketing Manager at Storage Scholars is a crucial role focused on driving the company's marketing efforts as a Direct-to-Consumer brand. This position involves collaboration with the CEO and COO, emphasizing the importance of various marketing channels such as Email Marketing, SEO, PPC, and Social Media. The ideal candidate will be a proactive learner, eager to embrace new technologies, particularly in the context of AI integration, while contributing to the company's growth and user experience enhancement.

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Conduct trend research and insights for content ideation, script and storyboard content, and collaborate with the founders to shoot content weekly.
  • Collaborate with the Organic and Paid Social Media Managers for content edits and optimizations.
  • Utilize AI tools for creating multiple creative iterations for marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Media Buyer to ensure budget and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) are on target, including hook testing and keyword integration from SEM Rush into PPC campaigns.
  • Optimize click-through rates (CTR) on video ad creatives and report on top-performing creatives to the C Suite.
  • Work with the SEO blog writer to ensure quality content production and publication, checking SEM Rush for keyword gaps and authority score rankings.
  • Field online press opportunities and ensure backlinks are added to articles for SEO purposes.
  • Grow the email list, write/edit promotional email copy, test subject lines, and optimize list segmentation and campaign performance reporting.
  • Make small adjustments in Webflow, create Zapier integrations for process automation, and test landing pages for the website acquisition funnel.

Requirements

  • Strong project management skills with a bias for action.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to provide snappy and well-written responses across all mediums.
  • Quick learner with a desire for self-improvement.
  • Technologically savvy, with the ability to learn new software rapidly.
  • Experience in still/video content creation is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with AI tools for marketing purposes.
  • Familiarity with SEM Rush and PPC optimization strategies.
