About the position

The HR Accountant position is responsible for general accounting tasks, including analyzing and processing financial information, creating journal entries, and preparing balance sheet account reconciliations. The role requires a strong ability to review and analyze financial results for accuracy and compliance with reporting standards. This is a contract position based in downtown Minneapolis, offering an hourly wage of $29 until July 2015.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required.

• Attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and company accounting policies and regulations.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced degree in a financial discipline preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
