About the position

The HR Administrator at Momentum Employer Group will support the daily functions of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition, ensuring compliance with company policies and practices. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can multitask effectively and communicate well with team members and clients. The HR Administrator will take ownership of their processes and play a key role in interfacing with clients professionally to uphold the company's reputation in the business community.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor company/client emails and respond as appropriate
  • Update and maintain client HR and Payroll systems
  • Maintain employee personnel files
  • Conduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications
  • Complete Verifications of Employment
  • Support recruiting activity, including posting positions, reviewing resumes, coordinating interviews, and extending employment offers
  • Obtain job references/employment verification
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Attend Momentum staff meetings when required
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in HR or related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (completed or in process)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Proficiency with HRIS and talent management systems.
