About the position

The HR Analyst (Compensation) at Concentra plays a crucial role in managing the clinical incentive compensation program. This position involves creating monthly reports, conducting training, and analyzing compensation trends to support the overall compensation strategy of the organization. The analyst will ensure the accuracy of compensation data and provide consultative guidance to management regarding compensation policies and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Administration of the clinician incentive system including record creation, edits, and reporting.
  • Maintain accuracy of contract data in the clinician incentive system through process audits.
  • Create and update training materials for the clinical incentive compensation program and conduct monthly training calls.
  • Generate monthly incentive compensation reports and present findings to leadership.
  • Review monthly incentive calculations and payment submissions for accuracy.
  • Identify and lead testing of the incentive compensation system.
  • Provide consultative guidance and training to managers and team members on compensation programs and policies.
  • Create reports and analysis for compensation-related projects.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies and ad hoc requests from leadership.
  • Process data for salary adjustments, special payments, and bonuses.
  • Evaluate accuracy of electronic Employee Action Form submissions.
  • Collaborate with end-users to resolve coding issues and implement solutions.
  • Review personnel actions to ensure compliance with company regulations and state mandates.
  • Assist in managing organization hierarchy changes between Select Medical and Concentra.
  • Perform data entry for routine maintenance activities and updates to colleague records.
  • Run and create key HR-related business reports using multiple platforms.
  • Respond to and investigate employee and HR staff queries regarding HR-related questions.
  • Assist HR Services team with legal audits and data requests.
  • Document current and future processes in the Human Resource Department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent education and experience.
  • At least two years of functional HR experience.
  • At least two years of experience using HR enterprise systems such as SAP, Lawson, Peoplesoft, Utilipro, or Oracle.
  • Advanced experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and similar databases.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in accordance with laws and company policies.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and professionalism.
  • Impeccable accuracy skills and ability to seek peer review for data integrity.
  • Advanced writing and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with advanced calculations and statistical functions.
  • Working knowledge of routine and non-routine HR concepts and practices.
