About the position

The HR Analyst or Senior HR Analyst position supports the Human Resources department by managing onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with employment laws, enhancing HRIS functionality, and providing administrative support. The role involves generating and analyzing reports, assisting with performance management, and serving as a primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries, emphasizing collaboration within the HR team and effective communication with various departments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive working relationships with divisions and leadership while upholding confidentiality.
• Maintain and update performance management software and assist supervisors in coordinating the performance management process.
• Generate reports and queries from the HRIS and applicant tracking system to support HR and other departments.
• Ensure proper processing of personnel changes and maintain a procedure manual.
• Support HRIS system improvements by researching functionality and performing system testing.
• Conduct classification studies and coordinate salary surveys to ensure competitiveness of the compensation system.
• Maintain compliance with employment laws and provide administrative support to the HR department.
• Complete special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related degree (Senior HR Analyst) or preferred for HR Analyst.
• Minimum of four years of experience in Human Resources for Senior HR Analyst or two years for HR Analyst.
• Valid Texas Class C driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of city rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Experience with Human Resources Information Systems and software.
