About the position

The HR Analyst position is crucial for managing payroll processing and benefits administration for a new production facility in Danville, Virginia. This role involves end-to-end payroll processing for 220 employees, both local and international, and serves as the primary contact for employee benefits. Additionally, the HR Analyst will leverage data to inform staffing and production cost decisions, contributing to budgeting and resource optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for two facility entities covering 220 employees.
  • Act as the point of contact for employees regarding benefits at all levels.
  • Utilize data to guide decisions about staffing and production costs.
  • Optimize resource allocation to boost efficiency.
  • Contribute to the budgeting process and forecast expenses related to headcount and compensation adjustments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, HR, or Business.
  • 6-8 years of end-to-end payroll experience, with US and expatriate payroll experience being beneficial.
  • 5+ years of experience preparing HR reports and staff data related to salary costs, time management, absences, and statistics.
  • Experience with HRIS/payroll systems, preferably Paylocity, for hourly and salary employees with complex schedules.
  • Strong experience in managing benefit administration, enrollments, and vendor negotiations/management.
  • Experience working within a global services team.
  • Experience in a start-up or small organization, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient with Excel and reporting software.
