About the position

The HR and Accounts Receivable Specialist at DS18 is responsible for managing payroll, human resources, and accounts receivable functions. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities, ensuring accurate financial and employee records while supporting the overall operations of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, finalize, and distribute invoices for assigned accounts, collaborating with the Billing Manager to address special client billing requests.
  • Maintain and update client records, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Assist in preparing audit reports as needed and respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage receivable accounts issues with collection coordinators and monitor unallocated funds.
  • Oversee HR administration, including maintaining accurate employee records, managing new hire and termination paperwork, and tracking vacation days.
  • Ensure accuracy by verifying timesheets on ADP.
  • Assist on Workers' compensation reporting.
  • Collaborate on Open Enrollment and serve as liaison with insurance brokers and carriers.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including consolidation and reporting.

Requirements

  • An associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least two years of experience managing payroll using ADP, with knowledge of advanced payroll functions (audit, reporting, and reconciliations).
  • Familiarity with accounting software and computerized billing systems.
  • High-energy, focus, and speed in processing information and paperwork.
  • Strong ethical compass and unquestioned integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of NETSUITE is a plus.
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
