About the position

Keller Interiors Inc. is seeking a Payroll & HR Specialist to manage payroll processing and benefits administration for approximately 100 employees. This role involves ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, assisting with onboarding and recruiting, and supporting the Director of Human Resources in various HR functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll and HR, with a focus on employee documentation and benefits management.

Responsibilities

• Review and process all new-hire documentation, change of status forms, terminations, garnishments, and child support orders.
• Monitor recruiting software for new hires and send self-onboarding invitations.
• Contact employees and supervisors regarding missed punches and approvals at the end of a pay period.
• Process weekly, biweekly, and out-of-cycle payrolls, and input manual payments as necessary.
• Prepare data transfer, record keeping, and reporting for Keller Interiors Profit Sharing 401(K) plan.
• Perform administrative processes for voluntary benefit programs and set up employee deductions.
• Conduct monthly audits to ensure accurate employee deductions.
• Support the Director of Human Resources in creating and rewriting job descriptions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• 3+ years' experience in processing payroll for 100+ employees required.
• Paycom experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of the interviewing process, benefits administration, and other HR functions.
• Strong knowledge of all state and federal labor law.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, and Word.
