About the position

DNV is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic HR and Social Media Marketing Co-op to join our Energy Systems HR team. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about tackling global issues such as climate change and are eager to contribute to an organization that is at the forefront of the energy transition. As a co-op, you will be part of a dynamic and innovative HR team that values adaptability and creativity. Your primary focus will be on recruitment and social media marketing, utilizing the Handshake platform to enhance our employer brand and engage with potential candidates. You will have the opportunity to work closely with DNV's Talent Acquisition Team and contribute to various HR initiatives, all while gaining valuable experience in a supportive environment. In this position, you will assist with social media upkeep and posting on Handshake, tailoring our global employer brand voice for the North American market and Gen Z audience. You will manage content creation for Handshake and develop professional relationships with the Talent Acquisition Team and Handshake support team. Additionally, you will participate in career fair planning, enhance current recruitment strategies, and support HR Business Partners in aligning staff to business objectives. This co-op role offers a unique opportunity to learn about strategic HR initiatives, onboarding processes, and other HR-related tasks, providing a comprehensive learning experience in the field. The position will follow a hybrid schedule, allowing you to work three days a week from either the Medford or North Andover, MA offices, with the possibility of considering other DNV locations. This flexibility is designed to accommodate your academic commitments while providing you with hands-on experience in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with social media upkeep and posting on Handshake
  • Tailor global employer brand voice for North America and Gen Z
  • Manage content creation for Handshake
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with DNV’s Talent Acquisition Team and Handshake support team
  • Assist with career fair planning
  • Enhance current recruitment strategies and develop specific recruitment plans
  • Participate in the development of human resources goals and objectives
  • Support HR Business Partners in aligning staff to business objectives
  • Assist in planning and executing strategic HR initiatives
  • Support onboarding and orientation processes
  • Engage in additional Human Resource-related tasks as learning opportunities

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
  • Understanding of influencer marketing
  • Experience with Capcut, Clipchimp, or other content creation tools
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Eagerness to learn and develop your skills
  • Good team player and ability to collaborate with others
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Cover letters are encouraged, but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
