About the position

pureIntegration is seeking an HR and Talent Acquisition Manager to join our Operations Team. This full-time position, based in our Reston, VA office, will report directly to the VP of Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering core HR services and overseeing the organization's talent acquisition function. This includes strategic business planning, recruitment, employee engagement, staffing, coaching, and organizational development. We are looking for an individual who can leverage their experience to enhance our HR capabilities and drive key initiatives that align with our business objectives. In this role, you will partner with business leaders to identify and develop initiatives such as performance management, workforce planning, and employee development. You will build strong relationships with stakeholders and recommend improvements to HR systems, policies, and processes. Your ability to serve as a credible coach and advisor will be essential in addressing employee performance issues and driving learning and development initiatives. You will also oversee compensation and benefits, manage immigration processes for employees, and develop programs to enhance employee engagement. As the HR and Talent Acquisition Manager, you will create and implement talent acquisition strategies for our consulting and staff augmentation divisions. This includes overseeing the sourcing, hiring, and employee acquisition processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, and implementing employer branding activities. You will manage a team of recruiters, define recruitment benchmarks, and build talent pipelines for current and future job openings. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and incorporating innovative approaches into our talent acquisition efforts will be key to cultivating a culture of excellence within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the business to identify, develop and drive key initiatives such as performance management, workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee and career development, rewards and recognition, and coaching (employee and manager).
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders, colleagues inside and outside of HR, to innovate, enhance, align and drive the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
  • Recommend, amend and drive improvement to human resources systems, policies and processes by continuing to stay abreast of the marketplace to identify and leverage best practices / trends.
  • Possess personal and professional creditability to serve as a coach and advisor to employees and members of management.
  • Identify and assist in solving employee performance issues.
  • Drive Learning and Development initiatives and programs effectively.
  • Provide candid and constructive feedback to business leaders about talent moves, gaps, promotions and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with the business to understand and make recommendations on current and future staffing needs.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits for employees.
  • Work with line managers and employees to address all types of employee relations issues, fairly representing all interests.
  • Manage immigration process for identified employees, working in collaboration with legal advisors.
  • Develop, plan, execute, and measure activities and programs to drive employee engagement.
  • Create and implement talent acquisition strategies for consulting and staff augmentation divisions.
  • Oversee sourcing, hiring, and employee acquisition processes.
  • Ensure talent acquisition projects fall in line with organizational objectives and focus on continuous improvement.
  • Implement employer branding activities.
  • Identify and partner with external providers as required to ensure hiring needs are met.
  • Prepare and track annual recruitment budget.
  • Design and drive the adoption of consistent recruiting, interviewing and hiring practices that support a strong candidate experience.
  • Manage, train, mentor and evaluate team of recruiters.
  • Define, measure and report key recruitment benchmarks, individual and department metrics.
  • Build talent pipelines for current and future job openings.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and leadership to ensure effective sourcing of talent.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging recruitment technologies, incorporating innovative approaches into our talent acquisition efforts.
  • Cultivate a culture of excellence and developing and managing clear objectives for talent acquisition team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of people management / HR experience
  • 5+ years' experience in a Management or leadership role
  • Prior experience including talent acquisition, organizational development, HR administration and business support with a track record of success
  • Demonstratable leadership and team management skills, capable of inspiring and motivating a team to achieve recruitment goals
  • Strong strategic vision and the ability to align HR and talent acquisition strategies with the organization's business objectives
  • Expertise in talent sourcing, attracting top-tier candidates, and developing a strong talent pipeline
  • Experience in employer branding initiatives and promoting the organization as an employer of choice
  • A thorough understanding of state and federal legal processes, requirements, and legislation
  • Data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze recruitment metrics and optimize recruitment processes
  • Willingness to do the hands-on work
  • Knowledge of professional best practices and industry trends as they apply to all HR-related functions and responsibilities required
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the technical areas of Human Resources
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills and goal-driven
  • Intermediate to advance-level computer skills with Microsoft business applications software
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and analysis skills for researching, analyzing, developing, and leading in the implementation of Human Resources related programs and recommendations
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • HR Certified preferred
  • Flexibility to travel 25-% of the time
