About the position

Circle Seafoods is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support the Human Resources department in its daily operations. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals eager to grow their careers in HR, providing essential administrative support, assisting in recruitment and onboarding processes, and maintaining employee records. The HR Assistant will play a key role in ensuring HR processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to a dynamic and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the HR Manager with daily tasks, including scheduling meetings, organizing files, and maintaining employee records.
  • Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating communication with candidates.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires by preparing necessary documentation and conducting orientation sessions.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing assistance with HR-related questions and concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR databases and assist in generating reports as needed.
  • Assist in organizing company events, training sessions, and employee engagement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations by assisting in audits and updating HR policies as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or HR support role.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with HR software and databases is a plus.
