About the position

The HR Assistant & Onboarding Bilingual (English-Spanish) position is a full-time role based in Irving, TX, focused on providing comprehensive human resources support to the organization. The role involves assisting with various HR functions, including onboarding, employee information management, and payroll processing, while ensuring effective communication in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Provide human resources guidance and support to the Regional Director.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for associates, management, and other employees on HR issues.
  • Process promotion and demotion letters.
  • Audit UKG profiles monthly to ensure correct entry.
  • Process UKG tasks such as transfers, W4s, and Direct Deposit changes.
  • Collect, organize, and store employee information in UKG.
  • Assist with contacting managers bi-weekly to resolve timecard exceptions for payroll processing.
  • Respond to employees' queries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform administrative and clerical functions to support day-to-day HR processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
  • Handle multiple tasks and assignments while meeting deadlines.
  • Implement training processes.

Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the US.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Superb written and spoken communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred experience with UKG or similar HRIS.
