About the position

The HR Benefits & Compensation Analyst is responsible for managing the overall benefits programs for employees, including the administration of health and welfare programs, vendor evaluation, compliance with regulations, and employee communications. This role also involves partnering with Operations on market analysis, managing pay bands, assisting with performance reviews, and handling special projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage comprehensive employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of benefits programs, including processing enrollments and terminations.
  • Review all carrier invoices to ensure correct billing.
  • Manage special enrollment for acquisition staff and LOA including FMLA and disability.
  • Process 401(k) enrollment/elections and manage Paid Time Off programs.
  • Negotiate with brokers and carriers along with the VP of HR.
  • Manage employee communications regarding benefits, including open enrollment messaging.
  • Coordinate with Finance for plan audits and 5500 review process.
  • Work with VP on Employee Engagement programs and coordinate salary bands and compensation analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of human resource management experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years in benefit administration and management required.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

Nice-to-haves

  • SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
  • Experience working within healthcare is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with dental or medical practices is highly preferred.
