About the position

The HR Benefits Coordinator at TRUMPF Inc. is responsible for the administration of all employee benefit programs across the United States. This role serves as the primary contact for inquiries related to benefit programs and ensures compliance with various regulations while managing the annual open enrollment process and coordinating with external vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Plan administration of all employee benefit programs including Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Spending Accounts, Life Insurance, Retirement, Workers' Compensation and COBRA.
  • Work with third party administrator on all leave of absences across multiple states, including FMLA, STD, state paid leave programs, parental and family leaves.
  • Ensure that FMLA notifications and tracking is maintained according to requirements.
  • Work closely with Payroll, Managers and HR Representatives to coordinate leave of absence changes/updates.
  • Utilize benefits system (Alight) to administer all benefit enrollments and information.
  • Direct responsibility for the administration of the annual open enrollment period.
  • Responsible for keeping all Summary Plan Descriptions and Plan Documents up to date.
  • Coordinate changes and amendments with outside counsel.
  • Work with all external benefit vendors to ensure employee problems are resolved.
  • Lead corporate Wellness Program initiatives and team building activities as defined by Benefits Lead.
  • Work with third party vendor (UnifyHR) to ensure employees receive applicable COBRA notices.
  • Responsible for maintaining all employee benefits folders with required documentation.
  • Process monthly and quarterly billing for benefit programs.
  • Process quarterly and annual compliance filings such as PCORI, Mass HIRD, etc.
  • Responsible for daily transaction requirements for Retirement Plan along with coordination of the annual Investment Committee review meeting.
  • Work with external accounting services in the preparation of all 5500 filings for health and retirement programs.
  • Run internal monthly reporting requests.
  • Maintain benefit related information on TRUMPF information portals.
  • Responsible for annual audits related to TRUMPF benefit programs.

Requirements

  • Previous Employee Benefits administration experience strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in HR or related function required.
  • Must be extremely organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with Workday and ADP preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in MS Excel including pivot tables, v-look up functions, etc.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field preferred but not required.
