About the position

The HR Benefits & Leave Analyst at LSI Solutions is responsible for the administration of employee benefits and leave services. This role involves coordinating various employee benefit programs, managing leave requests, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The analyst serves as a primary contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries and works closely with service providers to administer benefits effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement employee benefit programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and annual open enrollment.
  • Serve as the primary contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries and to solve any issues promptly.
  • Partner with contracted service providers to administer insurance and 401K benefits, ensuring appropriate enrollments and issue resolutions.
  • Perform monthly insurance billings, benefit plan invoice audits, and reconciliations with third party administrators.
  • Administer 401k processes as it interfaces with payroll, including weekly partnerships between Benefits and Payroll.
  • Perform required 401K non-discrimination testing.
  • Prepare for the annual 401K audit and provide third party auditors with reports, system access, files, data required for the audit.
  • Prepare mandated benefits reports and employee mailings.
  • Partner with contracted service providers to administer FMLA, PFL, Leave of Absence, and Worker's Compensation, Short Term and Long Term Disability.
  • Track and maintain accurate records of all employee leave requests and statuses.
  • Partner with leaders and employees to ensure appropriate communications and information sharing to ensure continuity of business operations during leaves of absence.
  • Interpret, analyze and implement new requirements and laws in partnership with the Sr. Human Resources Manager.
  • Analyze current trends and recommend enhancements and/or changes to the benefits program.
  • Support HR reporting for benefits and leave.
  • Conduct benefits orientation sessions for new hires and ongoing educational sessions for current employees.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a Human Resources department.
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience engaged in benefits and leave administration activities.
  • High school diploma required; Associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in any major desired.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with ADP HRIS software preferred but not required.
