The HR Business Partner (Director) at Emmes Group is a pivotal role that focuses on providing strategic, operational, and communications support for HR initiatives that align with the organization's growth and corporate objectives. This position is designed for a seasoned HR professional who will take accountability for HR activities within their assigned region, ensuring that the HR function effectively supports the business's needs. Reporting directly to the VP of Human Resources, the HR Business Partner will collaborate closely with HR Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Managers to implement various HR activities, including employee relations, benefits, compensation, and talent acquisition. In this role, the HR Business Partner will act as a strategic business partner to local management, overseeing the day-to-day management of HR Specialists within the assigned region. This includes ensuring that annual performance management processes are executed effectively. The HR Business Partner will also manage the implementation of Emmes Global HR policies and procedures, serving as the key point of contact for leaders within the region and providing feedback to the VP of Human Resources as necessary. The position requires a proactive approach to ensure compliance with local legislation and legal requirements, working closely with HR functional experts to maintain up-to-date policies and procedures. The HR Business Partner will also be responsible for communicating and managing the Global HR Calendar, which includes critical processes such as Performance Management, Annual Reviews, Succession Planning, and Annual Bonuses. Additionally, the role involves providing local HR support for disciplinary and grievance processes, maintaining accurate HRIS records, and delivering HR data and metrics to support organizational effectiveness. The HR Business Partner will also play a crucial role in HR due diligence and integration support for acquisitions within the assigned region, promoting equality and diversity as part of the organizational culture, and advising line managers on local training requirements.
