About the position

The HR Business Partner is responsible for providing tactical Human Resource support to Prime's employees, supervisors, and managers. This role serves as the first-line point of contact for delivering HR solutions and involves collaboration with various HR functions to maintain a positive employee relations climate and support management in HR-related matters.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive employee relations climate by responding to employees' concerns and advising management on follow-up actions.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to supervisors and managers on employee-relations and performance management issues.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment and selection processes for various positions.
  • Assist in writing clear and comprehensive job descriptions and evaluate positions with compensation.
  • Drive the annual performance appraisal process and audit appraisals for meaningful feedback.
  • Participate in HR project teams and may lead smaller scope projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related area, or equivalent work experience; HS diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years of work experience in Human Resources.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and consult with individuals at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication, mediation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues effectively.
  • Functional knowledge of state and federal employment and labor compliance requirements.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Developed data analysis and interpretation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with HR information systems (e.g., Workday).
  • Strong knowledge of compensation, benefits, recruitment, employment law, and performance management systems.
  • PHR (Professional Human Resources) Certification.
