About the position

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is focused on aligning business objectives with employees and leadership within designated business units. The HRBP will partner with leaders in a consultative capacity to support human capital management, including Talent Acquisition, Training & Development, Total Rewards & Recognition, and Community & Employee Engagement. This role requires maintaining a strong understanding of the organization's financial position, culture, operational needs, and competition while leveraging HR Centers of Excellence (COE) resources to maximize results.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely frontline HR support to managers and employees regarding functional HR areas.
  • Analyze data, processes, and trends to make necessary recommendations to the management team for continuous improvements.
  • Collaborate with COEs to determine approaches in recruitment, training & development, compensation, and other HR functions to ensure existing programs are effective and efficient.
  • Guide and support management in dealing with employee relations issues via the interpretation and application of applicable laws and employment policies and procedures.
  • Provide day-to-day performance and talent management guidance to managers.
  • Collaborate with management and make recommendations in workforce planning, business unit restructuring, and succession planning.
  • Support culture change initiatives and establish key change management strategies for business-related events impacting human capital.
  • Provide project management support for HR-related initiatives being implemented within the organization.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years of progressive responsibility in the HR field.
  • Generalist background and familiarity with the overall HR function including extensive employee relations experience.
  • General knowledge of human resource information systems (HRIS) and other people management software, tools, and systems.
  • General knowledge of HR laws and practices.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding employee information.
