About the position

The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) at Post Consumer Brands plays a crucial role in providing generalist HR support within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for coaching and influencing both employees and leaders to effectively implement people plans that align with the company's objectives. The HRBP will engage in various HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance with legal requirements, all while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Perform HR generalist duties in talent acquisition, onboarding, training, performance management, benefits, and compensation.
  • Design and execute staffing strategies for local operations, including both directly hired and indirectly-sourced talent.
  • Build trusting relationships with team members and plant leadership to understand and address people issues.
  • Act as a resource for team members regarding HR-related questions such as compensation, leaves of absence, and policies.
  • Coach front-line supervisors on effective talent practices and enhance individual talent management capabilities.
  • Proactively manage employee relations issues in partnership with business leaders and the local HR Manager.
  • Utilize HR data and metrics to drive accountability and business results.
  • Participate in and lead projects that enhance HR processes and support plant and company initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local legal and regulatory requirements related to HR practices.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of increasing generalist responsibility within Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
