About the position

The HR Business Partner at Duly Health and Care serves as a strategic partner to the organization, focusing on aligning HR initiatives with business objectives. This role involves providing comprehensive HR support, including employee relations, performance management, and organizational change management, while fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners and stakeholders.
  • Learn and understand the business to align HR goals with overall business objectives.
  • Manage ambiguity and support organizational change effectively.
  • Demonstrate excellent employee relations skills and make appropriate recommendations/decisions.
  • Negotiate, influence, and persuade while maintaining effective relationships.
  • Be proactive and solution-oriented in addressing HR challenges.
  • Communicate effectively with virtual business partners via various technologies.
  • Manage and maintain a non-union experience.
  • Work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Provide guidance on performance issues, interpersonal conflict, and terminations.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of employee complaints and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Assist managers with performance issues and development of coaching plans.
  • Support the performance management process and facilitate goal setting.
  • Identify training needs and individual management coaching needs.
  • Assist with compensation planning and job description development.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Maintain data integrity within HR systems.
  • Connect employees to appropriate resources for HR inquiries.
  • Oversee and implement efficient HR processes for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; preferred certifications include SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or HRCI certification.
  • 5 - 8 years of progressive Human Resources Generalist experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with web-based applicant tracking systems and HRIS.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
