About the position

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) at Weyerhaeuser will provide onsite human resource support to a manufacturing site in Philadelphia, MS. This role involves building relationships with employees at all levels, managing various HR tasks, and serving as a strategic partner to Mill leaders. The HRBP will be involved in compensation reviews, employee relations, workforce planning, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Role model safety standards and on-the-job behavior by embodying Weyerhaeuser's core values of Safety, Integrity, and Inclusion.
  • Create a fair and positive work environment and ensure open communication among associates and leaders.
  • Advise leaders on moderately complex strategic, operational, and business goals, incorporating relevant HR tools to facilitate solutions.
  • Manage moderately complex projects for the Mill.
  • Facilitate workforce planning and talent management processes for the Mill.
  • Manage and advise on HR activities and employee relations.
  • Manage education, training, and continuous development of skills for leaders and associates.
  • Manage compensation and wage analysis to ensure competitiveness and retention of critical skills.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.
  • Prepare and analyze reports for quarterly and annual reporting.
  • Proactively identify necessary changes and take initiative to implement them.
  • Exercise excellent judgment and influence Mill leaders effectively.
  • Build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Responsible for salaried and hourly staffing functions, including sourcing, recruiting, retention, and onboarding.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of HR-related experience, preferably within manufacturing.
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree is a plus.
  • Talent Management experience.
  • SPHR, PHR, or similar certification is preferred.
