About the position

The Business Strategy Planning Director at Elevance Health is responsible for leading human resource strategic planning and customer insight initiatives. This role involves partnering with executive leadership to define and implement strategies that align with the company's goals, translating these strategies into actionable projects and timelines. The director will also document strategic priorities and leverage relationships to provide innovative solutions to complex business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Understand all aspects of the business and partner with executive leadership to define strategy and success criteria for the future.
• Translate strategy into defined tactics, program/project priorities, and timelines.
• Ensure alignment and attainment of enterprise strategic plans to turn strategy into reality.
• Document strategic priorities such as external environment and report on customer insight research initiatives.
• Build and leverage relationships to provide innovative solutions to complex business problems.
• Propose opportunities to improve results based on continuous needs assessment.
• Develop, implement, and monitor line of business planning and project activities.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience including prior leadership experience.
• 3 to 5 years of strategic planning experience.
• Any combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.
