The HR Business Systems Analyst IV - Oracle Cloud HCM Functional Technical Analyst position is a critical role within Navy Federal Credit Union, focused on the research, evaluation, design, testing, implementation, and maintenance of HR cloud systems and product solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud principles and the ability to apply innovative solutions to enhance cloud adoption and functionality. The analyst will work closely with business units to understand their needs and leverage technology to improve business processes by promoting new functionalities. The position involves significant collaboration with various stakeholders and requires the analyst to act as a contributor on complex systems projects, ensuring that the strategic vision of the organization is realized through technology. In this role, the analyst will provide strategic guidance and subject matter expertise for HR Cloud applications, leading the day-to-day production support activities across various Oracle Cloud HCM workstreams, including Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time & Labor, Absence, Recruiting, Learning, and Talent Management. The analyst will align product roadmaps with Oracle's release cycles and business enhancements, identifying capabilities and features that can bridge architectural gaps. The position also involves documenting new system components, performing technology research, and proactively addressing operational issues and risks. The HR Business Systems Analyst IV will manage the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process, from requirement intake through design, build, testing, and deployment. This role requires effective communication skills to present status updates and issues in various formats, and to lead product meetings. The analyst will also coach and mentor team members, ensuring that best practices are followed in system architecture and design, and will serve as a trusted advisor to internal customers, helping to identify and document functional requirements.
