About the position

The HR Communications & Project Specialist at the University of Mexico plays a vital role in enhancing strategic communication initiatives and supporting key HR projects. This position involves overseeing newsletters, managing multi-phased campaigns, and collaborating with HR leadership to design and execute impactful communications that align with the university's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and implement strategic communication strategies for HR initiatives and university-wide programs.
• Compose, design, write, edit, and review HR communications for various audiences, including newsletters and marketing materials.
• Contribute to project teams in developing and implementing HR strategic initiatives, conducting research, and facilitating meetings.
• Manage Listserv accounts for efficient communications and represent the Division at various committee meetings.
• Advise on strategies to capture data and metrics to evaluate communication effectiveness and present analytics reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience related to the specified duties.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and collaborative skills.
• Demonstrated experience in project planning and management.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
• Five or more years of experience in writing and editing communications for senior management.
• Advanced skills in developing executive-level presentations.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop).
