About the position

The HR Compensation Analyst will play a crucial role in the administration and analysis of compensation programs within a US-based construction company. This position involves collaborating on various compensation projects, ensuring data integrity, and providing analytical support for compensation decisions. The analyst will work closely with the compensation department to define goals and assist in the management of salary structures and bonus programs.

Responsibilities

• Participate in defining goals and decisions for headquarters' compensation department.
• Collaborate on a variety of compensation projects, including program design, analysis, budgeting, and administration of programs.
• Assist in administration of US base pay and bonus programs, annual merit review and bonus cycles, and annual salary structural review and update.
• Engage in compensation analysis of exempt and nonexempt salary surveys to meet company compensation objectives.
• Provide analysis for various aspects of officer compensation, including base salary, annual Short-term Incentive Plan bonus program, and periodic Long-term Incentive Plan awards.
• Conduct various daily, weekly, biweekly, and quarterly audits to ensure integrity of SAP HCM and payroll data in support of various benefit providers and auditors.
• Work with IS staff to ensure SAP HCM system meets compensation and benefits needs and updated to reflect changes to salary structures and bonus programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3 years of HR compensation experience
• Experience in construction related industries or experience in a large-size firm preferred
• High degree of integrity, maintaining confidential information, and able to exercise discretion
• Extensive knowledge and experience with MS Excel and MS Access paired with strong analytical and numerical aptitude
