The HR Compliance Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting various functional areas of Employee Services, focusing on compliance and regulatory requirements. This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to OFCCP/AAP reporting, I-9 compliance, pre-employment services, unemployment insurance claims, immigration services, leave administration, workplace accommodations, and drug and alcohol program management. The specialist will ensure adherence to established policies and procedures, as well as governance processes, to maintain compliance across the organization. In this remote role, the HR Compliance Specialist will be responsible for completing federal and state reporting requirements, such as VETS 4212 and EEO1. They will create and manage OFCCP Affirmative Action Program (AAP) plans, ensuring overall accountability for the assigned functional areas and relevant project execution. This includes managing the scope and schedule for projects, engaging necessary resources, establishing timelines, and identifying inter-dependencies with internal and external stakeholders to meet strategic goals and deadlines. The specialist will conduct compliance audits, analyze results, and generate reports for relevant functional areas, providing potential policy recommendations to appropriate departments. They will also identify and address any potential non-compliance issues, determining root causes and applying their experience and judgment to find resolutions. Continuous improvement of functional operations and knowledge content will be a key focus, achieved through review and feedback processes to resolve issues or accessibility concerns, ultimately leading to improved support. Collaboration with Workday and ServiceNow administration teams will be essential for reviewing and maintaining content, business processes, and other relevant areas. The HR Compliance Specialist will also perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the HR compliance function.
