The HR Compliance Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting various functional areas of Employee Services, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to OFCCP/AAP reporting, I-9 compliance, pre-employment services, unemployment insurance claims, immigration services, leave administration, workplace accommodations, and drug and alcohol program management. The specialist will also be responsible for HR regulatory compliance, adherence to collective bargaining agreements, and the administration of HR knowledge. The role requires a thorough understanding of established policies and procedures, as well as the governance processes that guide HR operations. In this remote position, the HR Compliance Specialist will be accountable for the functional areas assigned to them, managing relevant projects and ensuring that strategic goals and deadlines are met. This includes creating and managing OFCCP Affirmative Action Program (AAP) plans, conducting compliance audits, analyzing results, and generating reports for relevant functional areas. The specialist will also be tasked with identifying potential non-compliance issues, determining root causes, and applying their experience and judgment to find resolutions. Continuous improvement of functional operations and knowledge content is essential, as is collaboration with administration teams on the review and maintenance of content and business processes. The HR Compliance Specialist will also perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the Employee Services team and ensuring that all HR functions operate smoothly and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
