About the position

The HR Compliance Specialist will support various functional areas within Employee Services, focusing on compliance with federal and state regulations, including OFCCP/AAP reporting, I-9 compliance, and pre-employment services. This role is crucial in ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures, as well as maintaining governance processes. The position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements while ensuring that all compliance-related tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. Key responsibilities include managing the scope and schedule of assigned projects, engaging necessary resources, and establishing timelines and deliverables. The HR Compliance Specialist will conduct compliance audits, analyze results, and generate reports for relevant functional areas, providing potential policy recommendations to appropriate departments. Additionally, the role involves identifying and addressing any non-compliance issues, determining root causes, and applying judgment to find resolutions. The specialist will also work closely with administration teams for Workday and ServiceNow, ensuring the review and maintenance of content and business processes. Continuous improvement of functional operations and knowledge content is essential, as is the ability to provide feedback to resolve issues or accessibility concerns. This position requires a proactive approach to compliance and a commitment to supporting the organization's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Support functional areas of Employee Services including OFCCP/AAP reporting, I-9 compliance, and pre-employment services.
  • Manage the scope and schedule for assigned projects and programs, engaging needed resources and establishing timelines and deliverables.
  • Conduct compliance audits, analyze results, and generate reports for relevant functional areas.
  • Identify potential non-compliance issues, determine root causes, and apply judgment to find resolutions.
  • Work closely with Workday and ServiceNow administration teams on content review and maintenance.
  • Continuously improve functional operations and knowledge content through feedback processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • Three (3) years or more experience in HR, compliance legal, or audit.
  • Experience with HR compliance and reporting, specifically OFCCP/AAP compliance and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Canadian labor laws is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience completing Federal and State reporting requirements (VETS 4212, EEO1, etc.).
  • Experience creating and managing OFCCP Affirmative Action Program (AAP) plans.
