About the position

The HR Compliance Specialist at Snap Inc. is responsible for ensuring compliance with various international, federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as internal standards and procedures. This role involves managing onboarding compliance, conducting audits, and maintaining data integrity within the HR case management system. The specialist will also assist in managing mandatory training programs and submitting required regulatory reports, contributing to a safe and compliant workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with international, federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as internal standards and procedures.
  • Manage onboarding compliance including right to work check process for global employees and background check adjudication process.
  • Assist with management of mandatory anti-harassment training programs.
  • Ensure all required labor law notices and compliance posters are current and displayed appropriately.
  • Submit required regulatory reports, including EEO-1, VETS-4212, and other federal and state reports.
  • Maintain data integrity in the HR case management system.
  • Manage internal and external audit responses ensuring documentation is provided as required.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR processes to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of HR experience with focus on global right to work regulations
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and audit processes
  • Excellent project management and collaborative skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Experience with implementing processes to ensure compliance with international, federal, state, and local laws
  • Experience with international HR compliance

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree or Certification in HR
