HR Consultant

About the position

The HR Consultant III at The Friedkin Group will support essential human resources functions at the Vehicle Processing Center (VPC). This role involves consulting with managers and associates on HR processes, employee relations, compliance, and talent acquisition, while promoting the company's values and initiatives. The consultant will also analyze HR data, improve processes, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support the vision and key initiatives of the organization.
• Consult with managers and provide guidance on HR processes, policies, and employee relations.
• Coach managers regarding selection, retention, associate development, and performance issues.
• Create and improve existing HR processes and procedures.
• Make recommendations to policies and procedures specific to the organization.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of Title VII, ADA, FMLA, and EEOC Laws.
• Respond to unemployment claims and participate in hearings as needed.
• Assist with the new hire experience and support the leave of absence process.
• Monitor HR measurements and initiate corrective actions to meet targets.
• Support hiring and promotion processes, including compensation recommendations.
• Research and analyze HR data for compliance and performance tracking.
• Coordinate local compliance programs consistent with the company's values.
• Serve as a liaison to managers, providing metrics and recommendations for compliance goals.
• Partner with shared service resources to streamline HR processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Five to eight years of Human Resources experience.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
• Valid Driver License in the state.

Nice-to-haves
