About the position

The HR Coordinator, Payroll at ArchWell Health is responsible for managing payroll processes and ensuring effective colleague support. This role serves as a key contact for payroll-related inquiries and involves maintaining payroll workflows, verifying timesheets, and managing payroll taxes while ensuring confidentiality of employee data. The position also includes administrative functions and special projects aimed at enhancing knowledge and skills development within the payroll team.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a main representative and colleague-facing contact for Payroll.
  • Document, setup, and maintain Payroll workflows to ensure top-level colleague support.
  • Partner with payroll leadership to administer payroll tax returns.
  • Carry out key administrative functions for Payroll processes and colleague data, both recurring and as needed.
  • Assist with verifying timesheets and managing payroll taxes while maintaining confidentiality of employee data.
  • Engage in other duties and special projects as needed, focusing on knowledge and skills development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field strongly preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Two (2) years of related experience preferred; minimum of one year required.
  • Strong understanding of payroll practices and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of payroll tax.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working within a HRIS or Payroll system; Dayforce experience is a plus, but not required.
