About the position

The Human Resources Coordinator at MasTec Communications Group plays a crucial role in providing HR support across multiple site locations. This position is responsible for executing various HR functions, including employee assistance, Oracle administration, performance management, and compliance with HR policies. The role emphasizes teamwork and continuous improvement in HR services, ensuring a supportive environment for both on-site and remote employees.

Responsibilities

  • Provide HR assistance to on-site and remote employees and managers.
  • Administer Oracle for employee data modifications including reporting chain, title changes, and terminations.
  • Participate in annual review and performance management processes through training and reporting activities.
  • Process and track worker's compensation claims and lost work-time due to accidents.
  • Scan HR documents for appropriate record keeping.
  • Create monthly and year-to-date HR reports as requested by RHRM & HR Generalist(s).
  • Monitor the effectiveness of HR programs and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in organizing and executing departmental projects for efficient HR operations.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding.
  • Perform general clerical work such as filing, copying, and mailing.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational planning skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities with a hands-on approach.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Ability to establish and communicate clear goals and objectives.
