About the position

The HR Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, organizing, interpreting, and summarizing human resource data to support HR decision-making, policy formulation, and workforce planning. This role involves regular reporting, identifying data patterns, and providing project support for various HR initiatives, all while working remotely from home.

Responsibilities

  • Support reporting needs across all HR functions including configuration for new reports and troubleshooting existing reports.
  • Participate in the HR data lifecycle including data extraction, preparation for analysis, and reporting information through data visualization techniques.
  • Consult with HR stakeholders to identify recommendations and feedback for HR policies and initiatives using data and metrics.
  • Provide ongoing support to HR projects including schedule planning, task tracking, and communication with team members.
  • Meet with HR stakeholders to understand business requirements and generate data-driven solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred in industrial/organizational psychology.
  • One year or more of experience in collecting, organizing, interpreting, and presenting analyses.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Excel Pivot Table.
  • One year or more with Microsoft SharePoint and HRIS data and systems.
  • One year or more creating Workday Custom Reports & Calculated Fields.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in advanced statistical analyses such as regression, correlation, and ANOVA.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
