The HR Data Analyst will play a crucial role in the Human Resources department by collecting, organizing, interpreting, and summarizing HR data to provide actionable insights that assist in decision-making, policy formulation, and workforce planning. This position is primarily focused on supporting HR functions through regular reporting and data analysis, utilizing tools such as Excel and Workday. The analyst will be responsible for identifying data patterns and trends, which will inform various HR initiatives and projects. In this role, the HR Data Analyst will support reporting needs across all HR functions, including the configuration of new reports, troubleshooting existing reports, and advising on potential reporting solutions available within Workday. The analyst will engage in the HR data lifecycle, which includes data extraction from multiple sources, preparing data for analysis through file merging and data cleaning, and creating metrics and analytics to provide insights into past and future trends. Reporting will be conducted through data visualization techniques, such as charts and graphs, as well as through advanced statistical analyses when necessary. The analyst will also maintain and update files, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports. Collaboration with HR stakeholders is essential, as the analyst will consult with them to identify recommendations and feedback for HR policies and initiatives based on data-driven insights. Ongoing support for HR projects and initiatives will also be a key responsibility, which includes schedule planning, task tracking, and communication with team members. The analyst will meet with HR stakeholders to understand business requirements and generate data-driven solutions that align with organizational goals.
