About the position

The HR Data Analyst will play a crucial role in collecting, organizing, interpreting, and summarizing human resource data to support decision-making, policy formulation, and workforce planning within the HR department. This remote position involves regular reporting and the development of methods to identify data patterns and trends, while also providing project support for various HR initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support reporting needs across all HR functions including configuration for new reports and troubleshooting existing reports.
  • Participate in the HR data lifecycle including data extraction, preparation for analysis, and reporting information through data visualization techniques.
  • Consult with HR stakeholders to identify recommendations and feedback for HR policies and initiatives using data and metrics.
  • Provide ongoing support to HR projects including schedule planning, task tracking, and communication with team members.
  • Meet with HR stakeholders to understand business requirements and generate data-driven solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, economics, or computer science.
  • One (1) year or more of experience in collecting, organizing, interpreting, and presenting analyses.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Excel Pivot Table.
  • One (1) year or more of experience with Microsoft SharePoint and HRIS data and systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree preferred in industrial/organizational psychology.
  • One (1) year or more creating Workday Custom Reports & Calculated Fields.
