About the position

The HR Data & Reporting Analyst at Veolia North America is responsible for gathering, structuring, and analyzing data to support the company's talent analytics and reporting needs. This role involves developing and automating standard HR data reports, analyses, and dashboards, collaborating with HR and other business functions to manage reporting, analyze data trends, and provide insights to the leadership team for strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, structure, and analyze data from multiple sources, presenting results in a secure, usable format.
  • Build reliable, accurate, and cross-matched reports for data research, troubleshooting, and audits.
  • Design, develop, and manage new reports and dashboards to provide management with insights into HR metrics.
  • Ensure timely development and distribution of established periodic reports, aligned with data privacy policies.
  • Collaborate with technical staff to provide feedback and specifications for report and dashboard design.
  • Perform analysis of data gaps and recommend solutions to relevant stakeholders.
  • Research and troubleshoot data issues to ensure data quality.
  • Expand and enhance analytics capability and improve processes by exploring new tools.
  • Collaborate with various business partners on project requests, prioritization, and delivery.
  • Use business applications and analytical tools to develop interactive presentations and data visualizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, analysis, HR preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in analysis, business analysis, research, or related fields required.
  • General knowledge of Human Resource and Payroll practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data interpretation and logical thinking.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding PII and reporting.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to change.
  • Strong knowledge in Excel; familiarity with Google applications is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with PeopleSoft and Workforce Software.
  • Knowledge of statistical and analytical tools for data visualization.
