About the position

The Human Resources Representative at Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) is responsible for supporting various HR functions across multiple locations, including contingent staffing, onboarding, payroll processing, and data management. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a diverse environment, ensuring effective communication and support for employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Support the contingent employee process by working with external agencies to ensure timely and accurate document receipt.
  • Administer and train others in the use of the time and attendance system for accurate payroll processing.
  • Oversee and lead the employee onboarding and orientation process, presenting company information to new hires.
  • Manage the employee staff list and provide weekly headcount updates to executive staff.
  • Respond to requests for verification of employment, collaborating with payroll and other departments.
  • Maintain accurate organization charts for each department.
  • Manage and input HRIS data into local and custom systems such as Autoway, SAP, and RIMS.
  • Ensure compliance of I-9 forms by conducting internal audits and ensuring accurate forms are received.
  • Perform administrative functions such as purchasing requests, time card management, and ad-hoc reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Up to 2 to 3 years of experience in HR or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
